Sr. Master Greg Diaz began his Taekwondo training in Asuncion, Paraguay.  During his formative years of competition he held the honor of National Champion in Taekwondo and open tournaments.  He tested for 1st Degree black belt in 1980.  During the early 1990’s he and a few other black belts, under the direction of Senior Master Cesar Ozuna, spread the style of American Taekwondo Association (ATA) in South America.  This association later became the Songahm Taekwondo Federation (STF).  In 1983 he was awarded his 2nd degree black belt, followed by his 3rd degree in 1985.  1989, Master Diaz went to Little Rock, Arkansas  to test for his 4th degree black belt and afterwards began instructing under Chief Master William Clark in Jacksonville, Florida.  He received his 5th degree in 1993 and tested for 6th degree in 1998. In 1999 he became a Master of Songahm Taekwondo.  In 2005 Sr. Master Diaz tested for his 7th degree black belt and in June 2006 he became a Senior Master.    Sr. Master Diaz has been teaching in the Tampa Florida area for the last 10 years.
